The house is finally mine, we signed last week. Will post pictures and scans as soon as I find the darn cable to connect the blackberry to the netbook. Hopefully the wind will die down soon so we can fix the roof. Can't be up there during a tornado watch or warning. Then we can haul all the furniture there from out of my dining and living rooms.

More pictures
Side view, standing on lot line, lots of tall weeds.
Side view, standing on lot line, tall weeds hacked down.
Really tall weeds and John with his 'new' walking stick he found in the weed forest.
Front of house, weed hacked down. Charles is 6ft, so the 'shortness' of the house and the doorway is apparent. Charles has to duck to walk into the house.
Living Room as seen from the front doorway.
Cat door, boarded up, as seen from the outside.
The cat door is now boarded up.
Cat door before it was boarded up, as seen from standing in the same doorway as the next picture, only facing out from the kitchen.
Toliet behind door (door on right of picture).
Am hoping the bank send me my money soon so we can start work.

The Beginning
First post, 7 pictures of the house before work starts will be posted as soon as I figure out how. I hope to chronicle the work on this small vacation house on a dirt road outside of the city limits. Lets see if we can stay in the budget of $1,000 USD for the entire house makeover.
